a VLX600. A "friend" rides a 69 Triumph: after riding both our scoots, the friend says he much prefers my Savage to the Shadow. His words: " at
least you know you're on a motorcycle, not a sofa"
I think the Savage is better value for dollar.
Speaking of dollars, it seems to me that we get a
pretty good deal on the Savage here in Southern
Ontario. A new Savage sells for $4999 at many dealers. Unless my math is wonky, that translates
to about $3300 US.
